Wanted to say in regards to the production sound both bounce and go go has its roots in the tr909. It's the same shyt fresh use when he did the track for Juve.
They got ahold of it early then cuz the first bounce songs I ever heard was some Katey Red and Vockha Radu shyt. And that was in the mid 90βs. Wasnβt until after No Limit and Cash Money blew up that I heard shyt like 5th Ward Webbie. Then in the early 2000βs that dude Choppa Style on No Limit had that song that sounded just like the the Katey Red/Sissy bounce shyt with the same hook, same call and response type shyt that I heard about 5-6 years prior on them Tranny rap tapes my cousin from Hollygrove would come up my way playing. I think some of yβall doing revisionist history on this one brehs
