I just hope if they're going to make Streets Of Rage 3D, just give the realistic tone again and:

-go crazy w/the lighting/ray tracing

-keep the combat exactly the same, just make it deeper (more moves, holding buttons for stronger moves, double team moves, waaaay more reversals/counters etc.)

-flesh put the 2 player versus mode so it's actually balanced and we can play w/ all the bosses henchmen etc.

-reimagine classic levels in 3D (especially the carnival and the Alien Power section, and the 1st levels from SOR 2&3)

Nah breh. "nikka, this shyt roight here?!?" This that one. This one of the best beat em ups ever. Definitely top 5. This shyt was tuff asf. It was semi open world and also had a robust multiplayer option.

We had classics drop that year breh. DMC3, RE4, NBA Street, Fight Night, God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, etc. And we not even gonna talk about Budokai Tenkaichi

Warriors wouldn't even make it as a rental during the GOAT console generation.

Back when Yakuza was Yakuza and not Like a Dragon, that was probably the best known modern beat em up in 3D. Think stuff like Judgment or old school Yakuza. Sega knows what they're doing when it comes to 3D beat em ups.
