nah..they just urged people to, and carriers did what they could by blocking shyt w/ auto updates, so they'd force people to turn it in.

Basically, anybody still holding on to a note 7 can turn it in for another phone at anytime.... I traded mine in for a s8+ (Which I ended up selling for pure profit, but thats neither here nor there) a couple of months ago, no questions asked.. Don't know where people got it in their heads that there is some kind of time limit on a federal recall

I can't see holding on to a Note7 for damn near a year like that. I sure as hell wasn't gonna chance it. Hell I took that Note7 back and got an S7 and an S8 since then.

I only held on to mine so long for the stated purpose of trading it in for the s8+ ... Didn't actually use it during that time, been using an iPhone 7plus as my daily driver since December

Bought a Nexus 6p last year for 400. Love the phone, but it's starting to slow down on me and the camera could be better. Also I broke the GPS by dropping the phone hella times and I want something waterproof so an upgrade is in order.

But again, I dropped 400 for this phone, and can't see myself ever paying more than 600 for a device ever again. May just wait till the S8+ hits 600 and pull the trigger. Don't give a fukk about a S-pen.

I have the 6p too, I would like to never spend more than $600 as well but hardly any phones can be used on the sprint network

There ain't a damn thing wrong with the majority of the phones as has been stated about 1000 times already...

Been using mine daily as my main phone since January with no issues whatsoever...

need a phone like right now and I'm pretty much done with the Apple life. I'm due for an upgrade but I don't know if I can hold on until the Note 8 release. faced with either upgrading this week to a Galaxy S8 or holding out with a Note 4 until the new note release .
