Ok understood. I don't think it ever ends. Regardless if you say something or not someone will always have something unfavorable about you to say.
Me personally it's been beneficial just not engaging with people who are quarrelsome and I just go about my day like normal. And anytime and energy I would've used checking somebody or defending myself I could've used it for something more productive like having a discussion with people I enjoy being around or a hobby.
So yeah I'm definitely not telling ya'll what to do it just my perspective like I mentioned earlier. Feel free to do whatever you like.
