August 3rd camp starts
It’s only July 25th thoughAugust 3rd camp starts
This is what Kirk Barton was alluding to with the QB speculation.
@DropTopDoc @Trust Me @hood b. goodeI went inside the Woody when I was in Columbus for Thanksgiving back in 2018, day before our epic “upset” over scUM when Dwayne went off. That was my first time in there, didn’t know if it would be open or not. Doors were open, went in, and
This all but guarantees he wins the job in 2023 after CJ’s two season. Best McCord had was his extra season under his belt.Don’t blame him if that’s his choice

1) He will NOT be at OSU by Tuesday for the start of Fall Camp. Still some logistical issues to be determined(in addition to the threshold decision of "go/no go")
2) The Texas High School Association has not issued a ruling on the NIL issue as of yet---however there seems to be strong feeling on both sides of the issue--so its absolutely unclear which way this one will go.
3) IF Quinn comes to Ohio State this season it will be fully with the intention of playing---not just sitting----so that will be interesting to watch for sure.
4) Ohio State is fully supportive of whatever decision he makes---and is certainly not trying to talk him out of pursuing any course of action
5) The NIL money that he is being offered to do this keeps increasing---with additional companies coming to him in just the last 24 hours(post Thamel tweet)
Almost time
I really believe CJ will be in NY for that Heisman ceremony. He can sling it and we have too many weapons. No way Olave comes back not believing in CJ. Ewers will have to wait his turn barring injury, covid, or something like that.Doug Lesmeries (too lazy to figure out how to spell it correctly) from Cleveland.com really wants to think Quinn is starting at some point this year. Still of the opinion there is no way that happens mainly because CJ isn’t a Kelly Bryant game manager. Once he starts and if he’s really successful and balling like I think he will be, there’s just no reason to start Quinn. Plus the learning curve is too steep, he hasn’t been throwing to our receivers, hasn’t gotten the playbook, hasn’t worked with Day and Dennis, hasn’t been in the strength program with Marotti. Best he can hope for is CJ is just ok this year.
