netflix, like sony are backtracking on this sharing shyt...they were pushing the hell outta sharing before
Debt did get to them, but not until 2008 where they had to declare bankruptcy. they had a seven year gap where they were still walking as the top in video entertainment. What killed them beyond anything else was the market crashing in 2008, but the 7 years before that, I cannot give them a pass. In Hindsight they should have refinanced their debt, and they would have been ok.
This is going to backfire on all of them actually. If everyone has to pay for every service, you’re either going to get a lot of 1-2 month subscriptions where people binge the 1-5 programs they want to see or people gonna drop all this shyt and go back to cable where they get a ton of content for one price.Don't Netflix users already pay a premium for the ability to have two people stream different things at the same time on one account even in the SAME household and wifi?
Tbh I actually love this for Netflix and encourage other streaming services to adopt this cutthroat mindset because they are quickly going to learn that people share accounts FOR A REASON and often that "reason" is far from simply being cheap. People do this shyt because THEY'RE fukkING BROKE.
I can't fukking wait for Netflix subscriptions and profits to rapidly decrease over this greedy shyt tbh.
