Neither CBS nor FOX would let that happen

The best Netflix can do is try to compete with Amazon for TNF but even that's unlikely

Netflix should just stick to Christmas games
I wouldn’t be so sure about that as Netflix has the bread to come up with an offer that one or both can’t match especially with how expensive sports packages are continuing to get.

Netflix is much better financial situation than either FOX or CBS. If Netflix, Amazon, or Apple wants a Sunday afternoon package, they are likely to get it imo. Don’t be surprised if this happens. I could also see MNF going to one of these networks too as Disney has wanted a Sunday afternoon package in the past too. It’s gonna be interesting how NFL slices up the package in the next TV deal.

The more the NFL tries to make its games exclusive to streaming platforms, they will slowly lose ratings.

The cream of the NFL rating crop has always been the fact that they are one of the only major sports leagues that, 95% of the time, broadcast their games on free over-the-air, antenna, etc, TV.

I still remember from a couple of seasons ago, a Playoff game between the Chiefs and Dolphins was exclusively on Peacock and received its lowest-rated playoff game.

Ratings don't matter to them as long as the check clears especially if streaming is where people pivot anyways.

Network television is a dying medium and there's no other way to spin it.
