Watching the first ep. This place is in Skid Row. She shoulda done her research on the area before booking. 
Is it explained what kind of meds she was taking? If she didn’t have some mental breakdown accidental death, she probably was killed by a crazy crackhead. The doc says she was very open. Someone may have taken advantage of her.

The first episode was decent, but the whole doc ends up derailing into tin-foil conspiracies built up by web sleuths. This really was one of those amateur YouTube docs you might stumble upon a late night.....no clue how it got onto Netflix.

yeah they explain her meds near the end. At first I was thinking some crazy shyt happened but I think she just had an episode.
Ok so you have a suicide, a strangulation, this black man that they’re interviewing says that he never rents a room higher than the 6th floor because you’re more likely to get killed on a higher floor. That’s what the resident tells you during your check - in .

She may have been trippin on drugs. Sweet, innocent, curious and alone in LA/Skid Row is not a good thing.
considering how much her body was decomposed can you actually test for drugs?

I watched this before. Having had a prior interest in the Elisa Lam case years ago, this intrigued me. While I enjoyed it, it definitely didn’t have to be 4 episodes like said in here. It felt stretched out to get to a conclusion that they basically came to at the end of episode 2. I appreciate them covering the vast conspiracies surrounding the case, and the stuff involving the Heavy Metal singer was new to me. But it could’ve been a tighter watch overall.
