The stuff is out in the real world. It's not uncommon to run into it either. I don't see the issue.

They don't have gratuitous scenes like these for hetero couples. These are side characters. They took up about 2 minutes of that entire episode. Yet in that 2 minutes, they made sure they show two gay non essential characters kissing.

This is a kids show too.

The way they rushed through that war I thought they lost their budget. But it looks like there's a season 4.

And yes, the agenda is right up front in this cartoon.

Is your argument that they shouldn't show anybody kissing or that they shouldn't show homosexuals kissing? Homosexuality is real, out in the world, and isn't uncommon. You aren't going to create a controlled bubble where kids aren't exposed to it.

A lot of the stuff my parents tried to hide from me as a kid I found out about it anyway and not on their terms. Learned about it from friends and others when my parents weren't around. At least on a show like this whatever sexual content in it will be muted.

No. I just don't believe that sexual preference is something that is cultivated in an environment specifically created to direct it a certain way. I don't think being straight is a decision people make because they grew up being isolated from homosexuality.

Really though none of that answers the question Is your argument that they shouldn't show anybody kissing or that they shouldn't show homosexuals kissing?

Just finished Season 3. I will say this, this show consistently improves. It's as good now as it's ever been but if it wants to see Avatar or even Korra at this point it still has work ahead of it. Not really a fan of how that whole final battle was rushed but the tease for the next season was good. I like the direction it's going with Soren and Claudia. I'm glad they didn't do what I expected them to do with that.

Show is still good but they need to do more with building powers up. Avatar had great training storylines. Dude just pulling wings out of his ass because he saw it once and because love needs more exposition.

Show is fire. fukk that other shyt nikkas talkin bout. Def one of if not the best show on Netflix.
I mean it has potential and is enjoyable. I feel like Rayla is the best character on the main 3. Claudia and Soren are pretty solid characters too. I also like Amaya and Viren.

The show has a long way to go though. At this point I'd say The Legend of Korra was a better show than it and Korra was all over the place in terms of quality.

I'm almost through the 3rd season (wife finished it). Show is pretty solid. The cats that brought up the rare few homosexual instances were definitely blowing shyt outta proportion. Same thing with some folks talking about the dialogue. End of the day, it's more of a kids show and it's nature of that, from jokes to dialogue are in line with that and not really too problematic even. Biggest gripe that held true was the 1st season animation. Glad that the animation improved at Season 2.

While season 4 is most likely apparent, I read that the creators are in a bit of a sexual harassment situation with some of the other co-writers/creators of the show. A few of them actually stepped down due to it, but they actually don't wish the show to be cancelled or boycotted any, just the main creator to take some accountability to his actions and make moves toward truly correcting them. Kinda ironic, considering how underlying themes of the show are all about diversity, inclusion, responsibility and accountability.

This isn't even as good as Korra. Korra S03 had the Red Lotus characters and some of the best animated fight scenes ever done in any show. Netflix seems to give a lot more leeway in terms of development, and it doesn't feel as though Dragon Prince makes the best use of those opportunities. A lot of it is just filler and trying to force the funny in everything.

And no, they don't get to hide behind "it's just a kids' show", either.
