So i finished the second season.

I enjoyed it overall.

BUT--

The agenda is real. That lesbian queen/queen couple :mjlol:. At first when they were introduced as the parents of the princess I was like which one is king :dahell:. But then I figured one could just be an effeminate male but then they started talking. And then kissed:scusthov:

My seven year old daughter was :why:

fukk Netflix for that:camby:

Watched some this morning and got to the episode where they made it back to her home and found out she got banished.

Then it showed the flashback of her guardians, both dudes, kissing:stopitslime:

Like wtf this shyt is so unnecessary. It's a damn kids show. My 7 year old daughter is looking at me and asking, are those two guys kissing:gucci:?

Bro I didn’t let my kids finish the last episode of Voltron for the same reason. It’s one thing if it’s an anime or a TV-14 series but it’s targets for younger kids.

Even putting aside the agenda spoonfeeding, the writing for this is extremely bad. The character dialogue, the forced humour in almost every interaction, it's just...bad. I gave it it two seasons thinking it was growing pains, but it's not. I can only speculate just how much DiMartino and Konietzko acted as focusing lenses for Ehasz wilder ideas on The Last Airbender, but their influence is sorely missing here.

Add the pandering back in to consideration and it's worse.

These people really want to indoctrinate young kids so badly.

You're an adult.
This is damn near a kid's show.
It ain't that deep.
