brendan couldn't get a new trial despite all the evidence they had that his own lawyers sabotaged him. really fukked up. that kid was doomed at birth with his brain and his fukkin retarded ass mom too.

i can go either way on avery tbh. it's very evident whoever killed the girl though brendan gave a false confession that didn't match the evidence whatsoever.

I can't believe that piece of shyt District Attorney flat out said that Avery did this deed by himself in one trial, and STILL went after the other kid knowing he wasn't a part of it.

I can't believe that murder fantasy press conference was even legal. There is no way they had any chance of acquittal after that bullshyt move.

Well, again.. I don't think there is evidence that points to anyone else because the police didn't want it to be anyone else. At the very least the roommate and ex-boyfriend should have been investigated hard because as said the roommate didn't call in that she was missing for four days and the ex-boyfriend the defense team found he had access to her voicemail and we know that some messages were deleted. He probably erased threatening messages.

Also, the boyfriend had access to the Avery's property because he was on the search team. Would it have been impossible for him to park the vehicle and dump the bones? I don't think so.

I think it's possible he and the roommate had something to do with it and the police planted evidence to bolster the case.

It's reasonable to assume that the key, blood in the vehicle and bullet were all planted. None of the police stories add up AT ALL but we are supposed to believe them why? because they wear blue? fukk THEM.

That goes beyond incompetence and into the realm of nefarious. What investigator in the year 2005 is gonna find some bones and just start digging them up with a fukking shovel? They know damn well that protocol is to take pictures of everything as they are found.

I trust absolutely nothing about the investigation. The bullet itself is absolute proof that evidence was planted. If you believe it wasn't planted, you also necessarily have to believe that Steven Avery's dumbass was capable of cleaning every drop of her blood and from his nasty ass garage (while leaving the deer blood), but he overlooked the fukking bullet.

You have to believe she was shot in the garage or you think evidence was planted. There is no other option. You have to believe one or the other.

I don't believe Brendan did any of that shyt though because if he did there would be evidence of it...You don't confess to what he says he did and there isn't a single drop of blood or nut left behind...He might have seen something in the fire and that's it...

Once Brendan "confessed", it was over. It gave the prosecution and media a gruesome narrative to run with.

Brendan's story is just sad. His very limited intelligence and social skills basically put him in prison. (Assuming he didn't actually do the crime).

I don't see how it's legal for the DA to hold that rape fantasy press conference. The public spent the next half a year thinking that was exactly what happened.

How the hell are you supposed to have a fair trial under those circumstances?

I think Steven did it, my wife is convinced he didn't. Regardless, The state didn't prove their case beyond a "reasonable doubt", so they should be free. She is addicted to the ID network, and at some point in the near future, I wouldn't be surprised if confessions start going the way of lie detector tests, and become more and more inadmissible, considering that all these cops are trained to finesse the fukk out of these folks with the mental torture techniques that are commonly used. The one thing about this case that bothers me more than anything else is the questioning of Brendan without his lawyer or mother present, under any and all circumstances, any statements made in those exchanges should not have made it to the jury's ears.

And it sure as hell shouldn't have been presented to the public.

Everything about the case is so absurdly fukked up and seemingly illegal.
