Except I wouldn't subscribe to a service to be able to watch MCU movies. I see them all as soon as they come out.

Star Wars?

No thx

I don't have kids sooo...

I look through Netflix to try to find stuff I haven't seen yet.

Although I could bail on Netflix pretty easy.. but not for 100% Disney content.

What would make them more money?

You paying $15 to watch it at home direct from them?

Or you paying AMC $15 of which they gotta give Disney a cut?

shyt, they might drop it on both.

Remember when CDs would try to come out the same day in physical and in streaming?...

You can't share a movie ticket. Multiple families can share a streaming login. Releasing it on streaming platforms on day one also puts a perfect copy out there to be pirated on day one. A third reason is that depending on the release schedule you could see multiple newish movies with a one month subscription.

Pirating culture is dead in the mainstream

Question is, does Disney make more money leasing their movie to theaters or having people pay for it at home.

I don't mean as part of the subscription, I mean as a one time purchase

I been saying for awhile that netflix debt is going to get them in the end. This economy tanks and they will end up getting bought out cause their debt is so high.

What is posits at the end there....Disney jumping away from physical media ownership entirely sounds evil enough for them to do

That would maybe destroy Hollywood not just Netflix
