finally got around to watching the first two episode of the new season.

was pleasantly surprised to see Alessandra Mastronardi on here.
i thought she was great in that Woody Allen movie From Rome With Love.

Almost done but I dont like how Francesca is stringing Dev along. She fine but she doing too much, pajama dancing while she's showing bare thigh? Secret texting during the engagement party? Spending three days with her eating, wining and dining?

Season 2 was great. Acting was iffy but got better as time went on. Some great writing especially in New York, I Love You and Thanksgiving. Dev's actions near the end should not be duplicated by any man ever. You don't put women in that situation, that's foul. And tbh I didn't see the big deal in Francesca as a character, she wouldn't have me kissing through glass that's for sure.

Deadass knew a chick in high school who had a crush on a guy but he never gave her the time of day. So she went out with my boy who looks similar to him and later married a guy that looked like the two of them combined.

Last 2 episodes were a huge letdown. I like this show better when it's stuff like Thanksgiving or the Religion episode.

Dev acted weak both with Francesca and with Chef Jeff. Arnold was the only saving grace in those last 2 eps.

Usually I'm very slow to watch shows,even when I'm making my way through its an episode every few days.


But I watched s2 in 2 Days


And this is the best show on netflix,bar none


I'm not even an aziz fan but this show is brilliant.


Every episode was funny,touching,and well written. Yes you can nitpick some things but as a package this is the real deal. I don't think I've ever related more to a show than this. It's just very real. Artistically this was a step up from an already great s1.

I need s3 now.

I loved the first 9 episodes. 10 was a big whiff. Chef Jeff being revealed as a predator is either too easy or came too late in the season.

But, it could've used more cameo's from Dev's pops. That episode with the cacette finding out her cac husband shoved a toothbrush up his ass was

Pops Shah - "No. I guess several things are ending up where they shouldn't today"

Imo this might be the best comedy on tv right now.
- almost all the eps besides the first one and the last one literally had me at some point during the ep.
- the funniest moments for me was the ep that big guy got stuck in the alley, than got stuck in the moonroof

- Only God can judge me, might be a classic moment
- the asian dad stringing along those 2 women with no fukks given
- and that thanksgiving ep, especially the scenes with that lesbian thot
- i really liked the eps where they focused more on the side characters. Even the one with the cab drivers and doormen was classic
The eps focused on dev and his relationships were def the weak points. Hopefully next season they have less focus on dev. Which i guess would be kinda fukked up. But

I hated Episode 2, his large CAC Friend annoys the shyt out of me.

The religion episode was real, his pops continues to be the star of his show.

Yeah it's a hard show to get into. I would've bailed by episode 2 but I needed a show to watch with my girl while we ate. It grew on me over time.

finally finished both seasons, I never taught I would like this because Aziz is usually mad corny but this show has me begging for more the Thanksgiving episode and the one with the doorman and the deaf couple was genius.I be back for season 3
