Finished this a few days ago. Enjoyed the first season but heavily enjoyed this second season.

The episode 3 bacon scene had me dead as it reminds me of a buddy. Sent him a clip right after, he was rolling and watching it now. When Only God Can Judge Me comes in... fukking :dead:

The two sketch-like eps (NY I love you, and the Thanksgiving) were def the most memorable for me. I was absolutely rolling all through the Thanksgiving one. Everyone was perfect in it. Does Angela Bassett age at all? Crazy. Just incredible TV end to end.

Chef Jeff was too good of a friend that you knew some kinda heel turn was coming, lol.

Thoughts on the Dev/Francesca story:

I knew something was going to be up after they hugged goodbye in Italy. The extra second shot of Francesca looking at him leave sort of gave it away. I know with 10 eps there had to be a variety but I wish they hinted just a bit more beforehand, that there was chemistry. The romance felt a little sudden (and fast tracked)when she came to NY. Brought the final stretch to a crawl imo. All the feelings sparked now, but not then? Maybe it was the city. Little strange to me why there was nothing brewing during all the pasta making :laff:

That aside I loved the club/bar scene when it all finally comes out. That felt as real as it gets. Didn't know if Aziz could really pull off something like that but he did.

The wine/dancing to Italian music scene in the condo was also very well done.

Will be curious to see what happens for season 3. I expect it won't last and she returns to Italy a few EPs in.

Good stuff through overall.

He said he won't think about making season 3 for a long while.

no way dev and f make it

Just finished season 2 in a few days. I thought it was a great season, I enjoyed it more than season 1 personally.

Thanksgiving episode was easily my favorite one.

Last episode or 2 dragged a bit but they were perfectly done. Great job by aziz on the writing and directing.

Need more Arnold next season

thought my TV was tripping until I enabled the captions. they wasted so much Time on that shyt

:camby:

This is the first show to give time and a voice (or expressive language) to all the people of NYC that never got any play in any of the previous NYC sitcoms like Seinfeld, friends, how I met your mother, etc

That episode is a classic :wow:
