@Based_Beazy you thought I approved of that racist mammy jar?? :wtf: I just found it hilarious how Aziz threw it in out of left field and showed how men will pretty much ignore everything about a female when it comes to sexual gratification.

I believe so breh, but just like the 1st season, the final episode ends abruptly and leaves things open ended and lets you fill in the breaks.

God damn. Wow.

Season 2 was awesome. Everything form the music to the direction, awesome fukking awesome. The acting in some episodes was a little shaky some times, but what ever.

To many great moments and eps to talk about right now(Chef Jef!!!)...

..But the best part of the season for me right now, was the Dinner party episode ending(I think). When Dev lets Fran out the Uber, then the end is Devs ride home..

"The next stop"

Been there..:mjcry:

Just finished the season and thought it was great. Already have a lot of shows on deck, but the season sucked me in and kept me engaged throughout.

The direction remained on point from the 1st season, a ton of gorgeous shots throughout and made me want to visit NY.

The friendship between Dev and Arnold is great, not only the visual of their different sizes but the way they talk to each other. The way Arnold says kissies :mjlol:

The fact that Arnold's ex was Hawkgirl from LOT :skip:

His friendship between Denise, exhibited during the Thanksgiving episode is great as well. Kym Whitley still looking :whoo:and of course Angela Bassett looking the same throughout the years, the woman doesn't age :wow:. Nipples and Toes 23 :russ:. Wearing the same John Starks jersey for a year :picard:

Dev's love of food always leaves you :feedme:

Seeing The Jabbawockeez, Cedric the Entertainer, and Good Eleanor from The Good Place pop up :ehh:

Chef Jeff seemed like a cool dude, but also a habitual line stepper :francis:

The chemistry between Dev and Francessa was great, and I bought into their romance even if I feared it would lead to heartbreak. The ending definitely leaves me :lupe:, although any further development in their relationship won't come soon. I appreciate Aziz takes his time with the show and allows stories to cook even if it takes a couple years.

I also appreciate the fact the show is able to do a lot of things well and isn't afraid to shift perspectives, case in the point the revolving episode with the different NY residents, along with the episode lengths.

Kudos to the music department and casting director as well. Show had some fine women from the Black British chick to Dev's actress friend to the makeup lady :whew:

Episode 2 was well written, but some of the stuff was a bit suspect. Why did they paint black people as homophobic; had that thirsty brother in the street when Dev and Franchesca were walking, and that sassy black agent Dev has? A lot of the show was done superbly, but unfortunately there were a few stereotypes I couldn't look past. :hubie:

Speaking of that I checked it out and it was like they had the sista there just to say that they have a black and gay person on the show.

Seems forced

As a black person who respects myself I cant fully cosign this show because of their handing of my people in that show.

Season 2 overall for me was on par with Season 1. It was good entertainment and a pleasant distraction.

I like how it showed even Deaf bedwenches out here losing :mjlol:

Also I agree with everyone else that him dedicating a full hour to "babysitting another man's woman" was prolly one of the worst things about this season and completely brought it down a few pegs. The position he put ole girl in was extremely unfair and bytch made.

Finally saw John Wick 2 and son who played Pino has range :ehh:

Also didn't realise at first but Chef Jeff is the step pops from Ant-Man

Yeah this was an early issue some of us had with the series during season 1. Even though I thought the Thanksgiving episode was love, the Denise character still has me conflicted.

Season should have ended with Pino kicking in the door and blessing Dev with them hands. The man invited you into his home, broke bread with you, and treated you like a friend. And then you turn around and plot on stealing his woman.

If there's a season 3 Dev needs to catch a fade from Pino at some point.

Yeah Dev is a dirtbag for that one. That is what makes it real. People aren't always honorable
