Just finished the show a few days ago :wow:.
Aziz is bringing it with this show. Dude is calling out Hollywood(:pacspit:)and speaking up for minorities/Indians in every episode :blessed:.
This will definitely be back for another season :obama:.
I enjoyed every episode.
The one episode where his girl moved in and they showed the ups and downs was :whew:

I'm six episodes in.

Funniest so far was the Claire Danes episode.
"So you fukked my wife?!" :russ:

Best overall episode so far though was Indians on TV, gives good insight into the compromises minority actors/entertainers have to make in certain situations

That Nashville episode was one of the more realistic first dates I've seen on a tv show. Does a good job of capturing how a date can go really well but then one awkward moment/mistake ruins the whole vibe. That passive aggressiveness she displays when they're at the airport is much more effective than if they went the cliched route and had her screaming and yelling at him

Overall I agree the acting is a bit weak at times but overall the show is enjoyable. And as a single, 27-year-old dude with an immigrant father and a lot of friends who are settling down and getting married, I related to a lot of this. I also like how Dev isn't confined to just one small group of friends like most comedy shows. The fact that he has different groups he hangs out with is pretty reflective of real life.
