...of course the whole thread had to turn into a bunch of shyt about Pac and who dissed who and all that... :snoop:

That's why I'm glad that for once, this doc didn't dedicate half the gotdamn thing to this stuff... it's a disservice to both parties and their careers. It's always gonna connect them of course, but gotdamn. I don't know how people don't get tired of talkin' about it.

Watched it tonight. It’s a very well done documentary and the story pacing is very good initially. Similar to the Illmatic doc and some other rap docs it feels like it starts speeding up at a point. Like they decided it was gonna be 90 minutes and nothing could change that. This could and should have been two hours IMO, maybe a bit more.

And while I respect the fact that it focuses on Big instead of the beef, the way they cover it feels biased. Like Pac was some random occurrence of fukkery. Should it have gotten into the politics of Quad, Who Shot Ya etc? No. But seeing Puff dismiss Pac as “theatrics” doesn’t sit right with me. Nor does Puff saying the Cali trip was Big’s idea. Come on man.

What dude said already and Machine Gunfunk
Its the rocket launcher, biggie stomped ya

That was a nod to cutty ranks a Jamaican dj.. Only a Jamaican wouldda made that reference tbh.

True it does at times .... I wanted to hear tho d-rock or gutta perspective on the beef tho not just the usual puffy playing it down or cease ...... gutta never met pac but d-rock has just be interested to know there feelings ...... I know what u mean about it taking half a documentary to explain everything out shyt sorted and ended but I suppose if u really look at it quad changed pacs life and ultimately bigs life so ...

Guys I know the Biggie/Pac Beef Rabbit Hole is infinite and will never end which is why they are both Legends but I'm happy the Doc focused more on this time. I think they could of dug a little deeper how they both really liked each other. Remember Pac had albums and movies out. He was the Superstar at the time. Big was more up and coming....so it was clear he felt Biggie was dope. I love this photo because Pac was promoting Big and Bad Boy at the time to the point of wearing a shirt that said "I Am A Bad Boy". This was pre Death Row and Quad. That's why I said Quad and the Source Awards changed Hip Hop Forever. But I like to look at the time more when they had love for each other than the beef. It was cool that Pac really liked "Party & BS" a lot and that was Big's first official solo single. So basically Pac was a Day 1 Biggie fan. It sucks because the conflict ended the way it did so it's like there just isn't any closure. That's why the story endures. I also loved the original "House of Pain" because it was a West Coast sounding Beat Big rapped on Early with Pac.

it 's a crying shame that there is no CDQ of the OG "House of pain" smh. At least Just blaze did it justice on the BIGGIE DUETS album though :wow:
