The same cause that Kaep sacrificed his career for and the one that Jay Z just signed a deal with TO PROFIT off of a movement (With an entertainment deal and to flip for a small minority ownership) that Kaep started, sounds very similar to what Jay Z did with the "Occupy Wall Street" movement.

Kaep is not being silent. He's actually more active than ever. However, he no longer has a platform to be in-your-face 24/7.. He's an exiled-football player without the NFL resources. Where will he be on TV? He was barely on TV when he was trying to get on a team.

He's always wanted to play in the NFL. It's pretty much his only skill for making money.
He's never going to be on another team. No team will touch him. It's a P/R nightmare. Nothing is prohibitng him from speaking out on the issues. He just can't speak on the details of the settlement. But court of public opinion takes care of that.
You don't know what Eric Reid is doing behind closed doors. But kneeling is his public display.
The boycott was only so that Kaep could get on a team. It had little to do with anything else. The boycotters were only until he was picked up. Now that the particular issue has been resolved, the boycott is over (at least for those boycotting because of Kaep). Those boycotting because of the NFL's stance on social issues are probably still at it.
