Why can’t Kaep and Jayz try to tackle social injustice in their own way? Do we always have to tear down one to build up the other? I see 2 dudes trying to make a difference. Sometimes in life you have to get off the sidewalk and get in the traffic :yeshrug:

I been saying this for about a week now. It's really sad.

Yes he did . He helped push The first step act for criminal justice reform which was signed into law at the beginning of the year.

Jay-Z, Meek Mill Launch ‘The Avengers’ of Criminal Justice Reform Organizations

So we gonna give Jay Z props for criminial reform, that was already in process from the Obama administration, you know, the administration that vacated the most sentences in US history.

lol man if I took your word about Jay, he would be the modern day Ozymandias.

the issue is jay-z piggybacking off something kap reed and others started, making money off it, and telling ppl they are past the form of protest that started the movement in the first place.

not to mention him not having enough respect to holla at kap and them before beforehand. not to mention black folks are criticizing kap now because of the division he caused by his stans thinking he could do nothing wrong. or from ppl who know hes wrong and are afraid to speak against him

not to mention he was making personal calls to several ppl telling them not to work with the nfl not even 6 months ago lmao

jayz is wrong:yeshrug:

You won’t give him any credit and others have given him too much. This is a pointless discussion. Everybody needs to shut the fukk up.

I said post a quote from Kapernick not Mark Geragos. He’s talking like a lawyer..meaning he’s full of shyt! I don’t think Kap ever wanted to play again after he settled. Unless I hear him say it I don’t believe it. They’ve twisted his words up so much and changed the narratve I can’t trust it. So once again show me where Kapernick said this

Jay-Z is wrong ok, still doesn’t mean he can’t help social injustice against black men. Unless our egos won’t allow us to stop arguing and move forward.

Why not? You giving him too much credit :mjlol:
Yes, I did. The narrative has shifted to who's really black or not. We should all take Ancestry DNA tests to prove if we can speak out about black issues. You can't speak out on black issues unless you're 99.99% black like Uncle Ruckus.

not asking in a internet forum argumentative type of way...
...but what exactly is the movement?

What is the end game for the NFL players kneeling?

You will never give Jay any credit as that is your goal. You always have an excuse when your statements are proven wrong. Van Jones was instrumental in pushing this and started his work under the Obama administration. Van Jones is signed to and managed by jay and roc nation. Jay also worked with Obama and his administration.

Meanwhile your hero kaep doesnt even vote or get involved with politics. What makes more difference in your life? Kaep's Instagram activism or laws and policy?
