Jay doesn’t give back??

Oh he’s not giving out enough of his money to you? And what are you doing to bring awareness to police brutality and social injustice?

Y’all internet nikkas who do nothing in your community to improve your surroundings always got the most to say about other people’s pockets. :mjlol:
I don't need his or anybody's money. It's not like I don't own three properties anything. Smh

It's not about money really. They don't have to spend all of theirs because they the resources to get it from other places to create resources for black people.

I don't believe you should give anybody money. Just create opportunities for them to make their own

TYRONE GA!
my whole beef with Camel on this shyt is telling another nikka like Travis not to perform knowing damn well he was wave riding in support of Kaep (the receipts are there), but turn around and cut a check with the NFL a year later. To juelz the shyt on some "well I didn't want him playing second fiddle to Maroon5" is complete and utter bullshyt and a lie.

but yall continue....

We as black peoples need to stop waiting on rappers and athletes to be our political and social leaders. Then when they do something we don’t like people act appalled.

Newsflash: everyone has a agenda and hidden motives. No matter how good or bad they are.

So I read this and said "wow, this is damning shyt if Dream Corps is a cover for social justice or if Can Jones is not about the cause.". So I did some light research. Dream Corps might be a cover...idk. Requires an actual investigation into their money to find out. So far, all we have is the website to tell us what it's about.

Our Mission

Nothing nefarious there nor obviously a cover (although I'm sure if it were a cover it would look like this). Looked on YouTube and found multiple videos with dream corps subdivisions #cut50 #lovearmy and #yeswecode
If you can provide something that shows me that Dream Corps isn't pushing us even marginally forward please do so.

I then looked into Van Jones who co-founded Dream Corps. Why am I supposed to be mad at him again? I even checked into your claim that Obama fired him because he was crazy and it turned out he resigned because REPUBLICANS were mad at some shyt he said.
Van Jones resigns amid controversy

It's not about being dependent. It's just sad not just on the celebrity level but even on the regular Joe level that black people for the most part don't stuck together.

Every other race does. Black people still don't haven't got the memo:mindblown:

She's right. The end goal was financial compensation. Which they received. They got their end goal. Now let Hov get his and let's stop bringing up Kap and Reid.

Let Hov get HIS? What is HIS? He has nothing to do with this movement. There is no HIS for him to claim, because he's doing nothing but riding in at the end to piggyback off what others have done to try and secure a bag.

And Jemele is wrong.. the end goal of the settlement was financial compensation, but that was only a means to an end after being blackballed from the league.

And the cacs in this thread need to stop with the "Kap got paid so he can't say shyt" BS because he and Eric Reid split $10 million dollars... are you fuccing kidding me? That's a lot of money to us, but $5M is the average salary for ONE year for a backup QB in the NFL, which at the very worst is what Kap should still be doing. So to act like taking this small (relatively speaking) monetary settlement should just absolve everyone of everything is pure and simple idiocy.

If your argument is that Jay-Z is profiting off of the movement while giving nothing to it then I respectfully disagree and leave it there.

You used the word piggyback and seem to have offense with it. Meanwhile, I'm glad to have someone else piggybacking if it pushes the movement forward (it does imo) and they have given the ones who came before their props (he has).
