When it went down a lot of people questioned it and werent happy about it. I wanted Kap to keep the court case going but at the end of the day he was paid lost wages he would've got if not being blackballed. He still stepped up to the plate and made a sacrifice. What Hov is doing here is much more sinister
Sacrifice? :russ: That nikka got paid millions and in turn shut the hell up. You're all he wanted was lost wages?

Breh, you're better off not having high hopes for these rich people who take up social justice causes. Keep the movement going but don't be surprised by shyt like this:yeshrug:

What Kap did was the definition of selling out. Just pay me mad bread and I won't say shyt. But the Coli echo chamber just knows to support Kap, so it won't be questioned.

He had been spending 2 years of his life fighting the NFL over that shyt and would've probably spent a few more years doing it had he not settled. The NFL was gonna drag that shyt out as much as possible.

All the meetings with lawyers, legal fees, depositions, court time, etc, that shyt is stressful as FUKK. While I don't know what the money figures were, most people in his position probably would have settled.

he sacrificed his career. He could've backed down on his protest from the jump and still been in the NFL. He knew there was potential consequences and kept it going and spoke out. Even when the settlement happened he hadn't spoken publicly for over a year so they didn't shut him up. He's still doing his non profit work that he was doing before the settlement, and as you can see Eric Reid hasn't been shut up despite getting the money

He settled because he probably thought after this shyt put in the rear view I’m going to the league. He don’t have to say shyt but I would like for him to speak. Just say why u settled

NDA's are pretty much standard in settlements for these types of cases. The NFL settled to keep it out of the news during trial. They were almost certainly going to list the case no matter what.

NDA or not, at some point over the next few years the details will leak out. And I'm sure Kap knows that.

What happened was Jay-Z hopped on Kap's dikk as a ruse to start a fake prison reform non profit to get a meeting with Goodell and cut a deal without looking out for Kap. The ONLY reason the NFL is needs Jay-Z is cuz of the shyt Kap started. When the owners were meeting with players over the kneeling issue one of the owners blatantly said they needed a black face to represent "social justice" for the NFL. First they tried Malcolm Jenkins now they going for the big time with Hov. Y'all really wanna simplify that shyt, a nikka just last page broke a bit of it down for you from the Dream Corp angle. And there's nothing "tangible" about booking Super Bowl performers wtf.

Kap hasn't said anything outside of post/pre game pressers. Y'all act like he was on the interview circuit before the settlement.

You and I both know nobody wanted kaep before the protesting tho :dead: literally only the broncos had any interest and that was only if he dropped his contract to league minimum. Let’s not act like we both wasn’t in that “kaep traded to Broncos for a 5th round pick” thread but didn’t go thru cause Broncos didn’t want nothing to do with his contract.

Who he sell out?
His entire movement.

Then he tried to get hired back on an NFL team again

His issue with Jay z isn't making sense to me.

I could see it being an issue for fans, hiphoppers and the conscious community but he took the check and tried to get hired again.

He didn't see it through to the end.

Why is he talking about what Jay z is doing with the NFL ?
