Reid worked for the NFL, protested police brutality, had teams make him wait for a job, had other players at his position wait to make it look like it wasn't just him, cost him money, and filed suit. He came after money that was owed. He never said he was anti NFL. He never protested the NFL. He wanted an opportunity at fair employment.

I didn't mean "you", but "you" as in Jay-Z (talking point). I agree with you. And that is the only way we will see real change. You need the influence, resources, and the power to do so. I've said this in numerous threads. I also believe that the best way to save the hood is to stay there. Have your successful friends stay there, keep the resources there.Let those kids see other successful and positive people right next to them. The blocks got worse as people made it their point to move out to th burbs.
But the problem is that the people who claim to care, and make it there, have to maintain that same sentiment when they get there. The main problem that I see with Jay is that he isn't even aligning himself with the folks in that circle that care about the plight of what's going on in the world. He's aligning himself with the wealthiest. He hasn't connected with the owners that are all for it. Hell, he may as well join up with JJ as well. That's how you know it's not real. He could've aligned himself with the MLB, or the NBA. At least the NBA owners act like they care. That's why I said just come out and say that you want to do business with the NFL.
