The news of this partnership should have led with what social justice reform they were gonna do, rather than a vague blurb to make a deal producing concerts sound more meaningful than it is.

as I've said I give Jay the benefit he was at least aware the optics of this deal and did it cause there was some sort of initiatives in place.....but they need to show that.

The reality is that this started over police brutality and you will not get the police to stop shooting people by taking a knee and protesting the NFL.

Kaep was raising awareness, which is needed, but there has to be a next step after you raise awareness. That’s basic marketing.

There was never a real participation phase where anyone had to buy into what he’s doing.

There was never an end game or tangible goal.

The same is true about Jay and this partnership. It’s a marketing move, but he has products that can be purchased after you move through the marketing funnel.

Everyone is saying this but what is it, thats what the social reform part of this should be.
How exactly the NFL and Roc Nation does it, I have no idea and they probably cant :pachaha:

People talking about Kap taking a payoff

No... he took the money off the fact these white Owners with the help of trump talking shyt in the media about he shouldn’t be in the league or play football in America again..

Of course you going to sue the league for black balling u and get your money back...

Jay-Z totally wrong for lying about talking to Kap and getting his blessing....

Kind of why this whole situation is funny to me. The only possible outcome was people getting checks. It’s smart actually.

I’m thinking about protesting at my condo until they pay me to go away.

I don't understand why these dudes keep cutting deals with the NFL without Kap's co-sign. They jump on his protest and eat off it without his blessing.
I get why people are upset but the belief everyone has to get Kap approval before making any moves is :camby:

He did this to bring attention to the issues not for himself

If Jay formed a partnership and kept it strictly about business, no problem.

To mention social justice is when he diluted the partnership. Keep it strictly to business, don’t carry their water.

Few others have said it, Kap had a lawsuit, the NFL chose to settle, how did he sell out? He got his money for being blackballed and he still continues his camps. He’s never done interviews and that hasn’t changed. Hasn’t looked like he switched up.

Eric Reid got signed but he hasn’t been co-signing the NFL’s social justice initiatives, neither has he stopped kneeling.

Taking the money ain’t the issue, it’s cosigning the leagues half ass PR social justice efforts.
