Jay always been about a dollar...he's trying to walk a fine line between social justice & enriching his own pockets but this just doesn't pass the smell test

I'm also wondering why the NFL would use Roc Nation to curate entertainment when their core audience is 30 to 50 yr old white men

I don't like this one bit...bc Jay's plan all along was to get paid first & foremost...the partnership with the NFL was likely Robert Kraft's idea but Kap is the Rosa Parks/Nat Turner of this movement and he's still alive...Jay dismissing him is symbolic of his arrogance

This was always the only possible outcome. The NFL is a business and doesn’t have any control over the issue of police brutality.
They don't have to. All they had to do was let Kap do him in the NFL without blackballing him or threatening to fine anyone that kneeled during the national anthem and they refused to.

Because he ain't the only one standing up against police brutality.

You guys have successfully made this about Kaepernick's ability to play in the league and not what the protest was about to begin with.

That goes for Eric Reid as well. Last that I checked, none of them are boycotting the NFL
I didn't say anyone had to boycott the NFL...Nessa didn't say that either. All we're saying is don't get checks in the name of social justice without checking in with Kap first because the only reason they cutting social justice checks is because of what they did to Kap.

If this was purely an entertainment partnership people wouldn’t really care...
I partially agree. People would still ask Jay why he talked all that shyt about not needing the NFL and not doing the Superbowl because of Kap but Nessa and Eric Reid wouldn't be mad if it was a pure entertainment play. It's the social justice angle that got them mad.

Kenny Stills and Eric Reid been kneeling the last 2 seasons. And the NFL can't force a team to sign Kap, and unfortunately most teams don't want to deal with the backlash for what they view as a backup QB.

My thing is I super respect Kap for kneeling and starting the conversation. But what's the next step? What specifically do the protesters want to see done?

Because best believe the police who are committing these acts of brutality could careless about some rich black guys kneeling before a football game

From like day 10 I’ve been saying wtf is the end game in all of this. The shyt Kaepernick was kneeling for IS STILL HAPPENING! Then the conversation pivoted from the initial protest to “Kaepernick is disrespecting the flag” and bullshyt like that. White boys are still wearing them bullshyt anti kneeling for the flag shirts. This shyt is ending almost exactly like I though it would.. I just thought it would end with Colin signing to a team and people being mad at him... I guess that’s still possible too. People are mad at this Jay deal but man it ain’t even about Jay really, anybody that tries to do any dealings with the NFL will get this treatment unless it’s involving Colin Kaepernick. Man this whole thing has been crazy from the beginning smh.
