This whole shyt confuses me. Kap protests, gets blackballed, receives verbal support from Jay, Jay refuses bag from NFL, Kap gets a bag from the NFL (AND Nike so it's not like he was hurting for money and had to settle) in spite of the message he was pushing, and now it's a problem for Jay to do the same? If Kap really felt a way he shouldn't have settled
That whole movement died and was de-fanged as soon as Kap took that money; but, this is the part of the show where people pretend like it's still some thriving shyt, and no one can act or do anything without Kap's consent.
Dude literally took a bag to shut the fukk up. I don't care about Jay doing whatever when the lead guy cashed out as soon as he could, and was placed on mute.
Of course, this is the Coli is most people have an ahistorical perspective. Dudes were really
that Kap deal, too. History has shown almost without fail when the leaders of any movement start taking monies from the very same platform it's rallying it -- that protest or unrest is done. You don't even have to go deep into history like how originally A. Phillip Randolph's March on Washington was something entirely different idealistically, but after certain sponsors got involved, we ended up with the tame, feel good version. Hell, you can look at Black Lives Matter or Occupy Wallstreet as recent examples.
Kap soldout Kap, period.
