Roman literally needed Paul Heyman and his whole damn family to get to his current point.

the belt uniification hurt and helped them cuz they could've been building more than 1 star during this entire time. in all the time that Roman has been on top, whether as champion or just pushed as top star, they've spread it around amongst the women. Bianca, Charlotte, Becky, Sasha, Rhonda, and even Bailey have had their moments to shine at the top of the womens division. they don't need a star that can lead them for the next 10 years. but rather to build up multiple worthy stars. so they won't just have to rely on one guy. they don't need Sami to do a long run or even Cody. Summerslam the latest works. Montez is great but has a lot of time to make up. 5 years younger than Roman yet 5 years ago Roman was main eventing mania in that match vs Brock that was mentioned earlier. he needs to shine as a singles star first.

Maybe because I missed the entire Ruthless Agression/Cena era and didn't like the Invasion Era...I do not understand what ya'll love about two top belts when that's what the US/Intr'cont titles are for.

i missed most of that era myself. i do remember in the attitude era it wasn't just austin. but also rock, taker, and others that were seen as top stars. i believe Roman is about to tie Triple H for second in mania main events this year with 7 and possibly tie Hogan next year. There doesn't even havd to be two belts but just more top stars. Unless they want Roman to beat Bruno record or something. The crowd already turning on Roman cuz of Sami but who knows how long it would've been for that to happen regardless.
Now, this I agree with, but, I think Roman just been that good + HHH been trying to start from the bottom with the rehires.
This is why I 100% believe Cody is the guy to unseat Roman. But, IMO, spliting the belts would be stupid because you basically taking his shoe off in the middle of a marathon.

Make the TOP, the actual TOP of the mountain---it's Roman's biggest asset. There is no 1A and 1B in the WWE.
But, again, you're right, I'd love to see Imperium win the Tag titles, too and built Gunther has the next heel champion. He's got hella momentum after the Royal Rumble.

I was thinking of Gunther and especially during the press conference when H said that every wrestler was coming up to him and saying how much they loved working with Gunther. And it got me thinking. What if Gunther is just like Cesaro. A European wrestler that everyone praises but they never give him a chance with the wwe championship? Hopefully not cuz he's been great but I had that thought. He's only 35, much younger than Cesaro and younger than Roman but let's see if they use him correctly these next few years.

They can build this arc in the coming weeks. Have Roman attacked and worn down by Sami and Cody. Then Jey can beat him. That 3 count would be
.Sami and eventually Jimmy comes out and hugs him. Congratulates him on being the champ. Roman mad but accepts it. Jeystarts his reign. Brings in Solo. Maybe tries to rebuild the Bloodline. Eventual Roman, Jey, Jimmy reconciliation at WrestleMania 2k25 with Kevin Owens giving an assist. Everyone is happy for a month.
Sami nor Cody should dethrone Roman.
Roman and the Bloodline is the most compelling storyline in the WWE today. You take Roman out and put the titles on Cody or Sami, there will be a momentary high, but it will quickly fade and people will become bored of them.
I got back into the WWE because of the Bloodline. Once they are gone, WWE may go back to the shadow realm for me. I have no interest in watching Cody Rhodes blathering every week about his father, giving boring ass platitudes, and being a superman that can take on any foe.
Sami doing some "dance" looking like he's having a stroke as he enters is not entertaining either. shyt is cringeworthy and I always flip the channel because I get embarrassed watching it. And wasn't he getting hoed by Drew McIntyre but we supposed to think he is a threat to Roman Reigns now? Come on.
The only other guy in WWE that I think has the same level of charisma, entertainment factor, and in ring presence as Roman is Montez Ford. Montez Ford has all the tools and can be what the Rock was back in the late 90s/early 2000s, but the WWE are disregarding him for generic Cody Rhodes.
Montez's short promo above was better than Cody's 10 minute promo.
Face it, Cody Rhodes ain't it, folks. The only thing interesting about Cody Rhodes is that abomination of a neck tattoo. And the only interesting thing about Sami is that he was the waterboy to the Bloodline.

Which I think is fukking stupid. Number 1, just a "tag team wrestler" is by far the dumbest thing in recent memory....Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and Booker T just to name a few. Started as tag team wrestlers in WWE/WCW respectively. Just because you're in a tag team doesn't mean you forget how to wrestle as a singles competitor

At the end of the day, no one knows but said parties involved in said matches. What I do know is Montez Ford and his tag team partner Angelo Dawkins will be in a Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match tonight on WWE Raw. Will this be the start of the singles run for Ford. Maybe, maybe not.

To me, the roster's too big for just one champion. And they barely do anything with the midcard titles so having two world champions takes care of that. If we're being honest, the Intercontinental Champion should be the #2 or #3 guy in the company, but that title hasn't been treated with any prestige in years.
Not every division needs brand-specific belts, but if you're going to split the roster in half, you need to have two world champions. Especially since the guy you give the title to isn't around all the time. It was awkward as hell in 2014/2015 when Lesnar was champion because half the time, they forgot they even had a world title.
