It's pretty clear that the studio had no idea how to market this. The early promotional stuff seemed to play it up as a Short Circuit-type movie but then somewhere along the way they remembered that it's R-rated so they started emphasizing the action but it's not really an action movie either.

I just saw this yesterday, My main complaint is how in da fukk does a movie set in South fukking Africa has no main black character. Hell the one black guy that could have had some legit screen time was canon fodder 5 mn into the fukking movie
