So this video came up on my feed:

And on the real, I'm starting to see the biggest problem in gaming beyond the layoffs, greed, and foolish decisions....but asshead content creators and websites promoting doom and gloom are the culprit.

Case in point:

Some of my favorite creators were outted for caping for a game that went off the rails compared to the previous one, not a single accountability was shown except for vague ass videos and double downs.

Think about the No Man's Sky and Cyberpunk 2077 shyt flinging and memes during the launch, and how magically those exact same dikk gobblers came back to the game, and not a single content creator shown accountability *ahem Angry Joe*.

Fast forward to the whole Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection fiasco and seeing bullshyt "doom and gloom" videos like:

Knowing that the bugs and updates are coming.

Now, don't get me wrong. Its good for gamers to be aware and games to be called out for piss poor results, but the lack of patience, the "game ded" memes. and NMS/CP2077 bullshyt is legit killing gaming as a whole, as dikkheads flooding Steam nowadays with bomb reviews because the developer like the Cowboys instead of the Raiders, like fukkING GROW UP AND...."ENJOY VIDEO GAMES"

Fandom in general has turned into a bunch of complaining. Gaming in general is too big to fail but these people are annoying as fukk and need to be called out

I'm saying like... critiquing is one thing. I get that. I'm guilty of the shyt more ways than one, but when you have creators and fandom trying to get developers off the paint, along with video games getting bushed because it doesn't fit the mode, that's a fukking problem as it causes job losses, along with shutdowns.

For instance:

Peep the dislike ratio. This is one of the reasons why YouTube bush the thumbs down, because dikkhead gamers are dikkheaded because "dead game', nevermind:

  • 343 actually doing the best to make Halo Infinite has some sort of legs
  • The issues with the game were addressed (speaking of which, I need to redownload the MP)
  • They added content to the game when it was barebones at launch
LIKE WHAT MORE DO THESE GAMERS WANT :why:

Peep Fallout 76, another game that got shytted on (for some good reasoning, but it redeemed itself), you still have heads going "lmaoz dad game".

Also, lets go deep into the Sweet Baby nonsense. Nevermind, most of the games that are labelled "not recommended" are pretty good to amazing games, lets get pitchforks because woke babble.

It's getting annoying when you see vids like this making a killing:

And within a few months Blizzard actually fixes what need to be fixed, the same dikkgobbling parasites in front of their loan breaking "streaming gaming machines" will come crawling back talking about "BLIZARRRD IS BYKE :krs: "

fukking roaches :pacspit:

This is applicable to pretty much any entertainment medium.

The internet made it easy to find like minded folks no matter how asinine your opinion is.

:manny:

But some industries are thriving despite the negative aspect to the internet. Like off the strength alone of social networking in gaming caused more job losses, more negative reactions, and lack of direction because folks are modern day centipedes.

One streamer saying "diz gayme sux" can have a bunch of mindless sheep going "yeahhhhhhhh dad game".

Prime example:

This game got mixed to negative reviews all due to it being a "Early access game", but nobody is going to address how amazing the dev team been with acknowledging the complaints and coming up with solutions.

I'm just tired of the doom and gloom babble. Hell, just saying console war stannery around these parts is a breath of fresh air, because its just old school fukkery with modern gen consoles.

People have the right to complain about a poor product that costs money. Waiting months/years for a product to improve to the state it was marketed to be in at launch is a terrible practice and should be shamed.

But on what grounds it becomes a factor without the realization that its not always "lazy devs", its shytbird publishers and suits. Also game development is way beyond what it used to be. Trust, I feel where gamers are coming from (especially with how many times I got burnt from games), but games like Starfield made me realize that gamers lack patience, and want impossible pipe dreams to fuse their ADHD ways.

Its impossible and also shyt takes time.

I guarantee you by the end of 2024, you are going to see "STARFIELD IS BYKE" and like slithering leeches, content creators and streamers are going to green light the shyt and everybody will dikkride once again.

Once I started hearing gamers complaining about big t*ts in video games that’s when I knew it was too far gone. Gamers who are chronically online are sick in the head.

Breh, sometimes I just bang my head against the branch because of these weird expectations. Just like now with folks hyping up EA dropping a College Football game, but fail to realize that EA also dropped this stinker:

I already know how its going to go down the moment the early access drops :francis:

I can dig it, but all we can do is play what we play.

I don’t play Madden anymore, but I’m not going to shyt on someone for playing it. You just have to take those folks for what they are and keep it moving.

I joke a lot on Xbox and games on that side, but I’ll be damn if I let someone influence my choice to buy SpiderMan 2 or Stardew Valley cause someone said it wasn’t worth it.

Square biz. Take Diablo 4. I preordered it and played the early access beta. Hated the feel of it, along with how messy the game was, and ended up cancelling the preorder.

Said my piece while arcadium brehs went "you smooth brain fuzzball, you not playing it correctly"

Within the months, the praise turned to "dad game". One thing to just say "nah I'm cancelling", and keep it trucking, versus doom, gloom, and hatred.

Just like the Helldivers hype. I know how that game is going to end, but I'm not going to take the fun away from fellow brehs that enjoy the game :manny:

Putting out lazy unfinished product will always get deserved pushback, no matter who made the final call to release it that way. Doubling down and trying to blame consumers for pointing out the flaws will always get that response as well.

CDPR went quiet on everything else they could have been developing, for months and months, to fix their game and have it to the point now where it's a standout product. They should never have put it out with all the mistakes in the first place, but you have to respect them for fixing it all AND putting out quality DLC. Those kinds of decisions will motivate people to actually buy your games...not the corporate doublespeak.

CDPR to be fair deserved the hatred, and even then the game wasn't bad...it was just a buggy half finished mess. I played it, enjoyed it for what it was, hated the bugs, beat the game, never looked back, ended up buying the expansion pass and ran that jawn back.

Games like CP2077 and NMS got immunity due to the backlash beforehand, but the negative tones in general for anything gaming just screams follower mentality. It doesn't help when you have influencers playing follower, instead of leader.

Hence why I used to watch ModernWarNegro, before became a follower himself :francis:

More like cynicism and dog whistling will be the death of gaming.

People are always thinking every game they play needs to be some transcendent experience. Nah, man. Some of the most fun games are low-key not even that great. GTA 3 was but ugly and was janky AF to play. But the ideas were there and the world was fun, so people looked past it.

Cyberpunk got a lot of flack at launch, and rightfully so. However, SO many people put the game down after 3 hours rushing the main story and didn't dive into the world at all. The foundation of the world and the writing was some of the best in gaming, even with the technical issues. But you didn't discover that if all you did was watch the bellyaching on YouTube and Twitch.

Everything now has to be "content" and I hate that shyt. Just be honest about the game and even if you like a "bad" game. That's cool too.
