Should be higher than that but it’s a good start. Taxing earnings at over 10 million isn’t going to send these fukks to the poor house, they’ll still be rich as fukk. No one needs that kind of money.

Income inequality got worse after you went from 25+ tax brackets to only 5-7 brackets we have now.

the top marginal tax rate is shamefully low when you consider the sheer volume of tax shelters/avoidance schemes that are also available to high net worth individuals

Question; Why don't we just crack down on tax shelters and tax avoidance techniques. That will allow us to collect "full" taxes which could greatly offset our deficit.

For the record I'm pro high marginal tax rates on the super rich.

It's simple. In order to reduce our debts and provide the services required to help the country as a whole we must raise taxes on the wealthy and corporations.

Argue for 30 days about inefficient walls then support inefficient tax laws brehs.

Jack Dorsey made $1 last year. How does the 70% tax rate make him pay more?

Marginal tax rates aren't going to effect him in this situation. His compensation is tied to stock options so he's gonna be taxed at capital gains rather than income tax.....

Yea I know. Most of these guys aren’t collecting $2 million for their direct deposit.
