Kawhi vs Bron this year isn't even that interesting. One player is 35 years old at the tail end of their career and the other is also on a steep decline due to a degenerative injury. KD will never be the same again after the achilles. So the most interesting thing to see is whether Harden does some damage this year in the playoffs and cement himself amongst the GOATs of this era.

Nah breh, it's still very interesting because both their age/injury status are overstated imo.

Old Man Lebron got that '98 Jordan / 98-'00 Karl Malone MVP bone marrow. Guys with their work ethic and maintenance can ball at an MVP level well into their mid-30s,

Gimp-knee Kawhi still blowing by defensive-specialists and jamming on nyggas. The nygga just extra dramatic with the rehab.

The old dog ain't too old and the young dog ain't damaged goods but time is of the essence.

:camby:Easy to play well when your opponents won't dare to come off of either Steph or Klay from the perimeter no matter what. You can't just dismiss the fact that he played with them lol. Before that move he was routinely underperforming against top teams in the Playoffs. Even against teams like Memphis.
Well, Lebron benefitted from a weak Eastern Conference Finals that had teams were either rebuilding or missing their star players. Should we dismiss Lebron's great playoffs performance when his stack team ran through the Easten Conference without facing any resistance?

It doesn’t get discussed enough but with gs last championship run, passive ass Durant was trying to give steph the chance to be mvp on some fit in shyt and still won finals mvp casually if you were paying attention...

Actually skill players Durant and Kawhi >>...then other two aren’t even in the same category skills wise if we being honest, just athletic freaks who can hoop well
What are you talking about? This was barely true for Lebron when he came in the league. It damn sure isn't true now.

Giannis ranks last.Need to see him go on

a beastly playoff run before I crown him.Until

then, he'll be something like a new age

David Robinson to me.Crazy athlete with a

pretty stat sheet, but no big game/playoff

glory moments.I've been saying he's a glo-

rified #2 option.Maybe the Bucks will dra-

ft their Tim Duncan some day:ld:

I noticed that Lebron, KD, and Kawhi each had a crack at the Steph and Klay Warriors... and their chances of winning were more or less 50/50 coin flips
  • Lebron literally came down to the last 2 minutes of game 7; down 1-3 but DG missing game 5
  • KD fumbled the bag in game 6 and 7; up 3-1 and every relevant person played
  • Kawhi won in 6 but it was a close messy finish; up 3-1 but Klay missing game 3 and the 4th qtr of game 6

Lebron
29.7ppg / 11.3rpg/ / 8.9apg / 49% shooting / 37% 3pt shooting / 72% freethrow shooting
KD
30ppg / 8rpg / 2.9apg / 42% shooting / 28% 3pt shooting / 91% freethrow shooting
Kawhi
28.5ppg / 9.8rpg / 4.2apg / 43% shooting / 35% 3pt shooting / 90% freethrow shooting

Durant and LeBron are still top 2. Giannis is last of the 4, the other 3 are much more polished than him, but that’s something that’ll come with more experience and time. In 2 years Giannis is going to shyt on the league something serious.

We'll get our answers in the Conference Finals and Finals. Next year, Steph and Durant get to have their say as well.

Kawhi is looking like the best scorer in the league. There’s basically nothing a defense can do to stop him from getting to his spots.

I think Doc Rivers system is so trash and ad hoc that it doesn't really maximize Kawhi's offensive abilities like we see other coaches do with Harden, Giannis, Luka, etc.
