in real basketball it does, if the center can shoot and/or pass. and if the team is not very good at zone in 2k it can, but the court is not big enough, so dudes can spam steals and get back to close out. tis why 5 out manifested itself heavt in 2k, cuz it helps break the zone, if the team isnt good at rotations on 2k. in general it all just makes for a very bland rec/ proam experience

Is the court too small? I've read comments about that for the longest.
I always make shooting centers, so zone for the team I was on wasn't that big a deal.

court is small. if you google it, bunch of post pop up over the years about the court size on operation sports and reddit. i think some dude did a proper comparison on youtube a while ago

PC mods are starting to get good. Game hasn't looked this good since the leap to 2k7 and 2k14.
mad as hell they put denuvo in this shyt starting with 2k24..

nikkas can dislike for My Player stuff and micro transactions, but this is BY FAR the best and most realistic sports game to ever hit the market. It's not even a close comparison as far as relation to the real life sport.
The shyt you can do on this game ON BOTH ENDS just amazes me when I get a good online nikka who plays realistically. I smash the fukk out of cheezers every time I match up with them. I beat 3 different nikkas in the top 10 ranks on PC. nikkas with hundreds of wins that try to cheese the game. I make them nikkas quit lol.

Man my shyt not good enough to use the Ray Tracing Arena lighting mods that just dropped, the Realistic Lighting Arenas work fine on my shyt but the Ray Tracing ones drop my fps by 25+. That shyt looks god damn ridiculous though

I was talking the last gen version, I had it on PC so this is my first spin with Next Gen.
The last gen version was more balanced and the graphics were better with mods. 25 this year blows 24 out of the water in every way possible to be honest.
I liked 24 but it still had the normal 2K flaws (like horrible finishing around the basket). 2K literally fixed all the flaws that had been lingering for 10+ years (the CPU NEVER took jumpers off the dribble properly in any version of 2K, they fixed that shyt in a single transition to the next year).
This shyt is just fire to me man.
I’ll just tell you here. I didn’t make TOO many changes. I started off on All Star, and made EVERYTHING the same for both the User and CPU (for example on All Star, the User shot attributes are at 55 and I think the CPU is 50…I made it 55 for both). The only differences are the following:
Offense: Ball Security 50, Body Sensitivity 40
Defense: Inside Contact 50, Layup Takeoff 15, Layup Release 45, Jump Shot Gather 50, Jump Shot Release 30
Tendendies: Change Contests Shots to 50 for the CPU
Fouls: Charging/Blocking/Shooting 70, Reaching 50

23 imo has been the best out of the ps5/x iterations. 25 feels closer to that i just can’t shoot all that well

Try to learn rhythm shooting if you haven't already. And check if you're using low/med/high risk or difficulty
