I dont kno wwho else to talk to about this so im going to ask yall

I been playing 2k since the original with AI on the Dreamcast always played legit run plays user on user defense etc etc

I play on HOF if im not playing friends im playing my franchise(Spurs).

I am completely fukking inept at this game. Cant shoot consistently. Defense?!?!?!?? Computer blows right through me and yes I mean through me doesn't matter what side I hedge or try to force them too im just a cone out there.

I play everyday until it pisses me off and I quit. Ive never unistalled a 2k before. I just want to know is it just me maybe im just trash now ive had worst Spurs teams and played wayyyyyy better. I run plays. WTF AM I DOING WRONG BREHS I WANT TO LOVE THIS GAME

Stop playing hof until you used to it. I can’t shoot consistently either i wish it had the meter from 23. They nerfed defense because park players complained too much

What difficulty you playing on where they missing like that?

And what you mean force a trade? I can usually request a trade after 10 games then I’m gone like 4 games later max

For some reason 2k hard codes it so your teammates can’t shoot consistently

Like the bruh above me said, stop playing on HOF. All it does is give the CPU an advantage with the sliders and gives you a disadvantage. Even if you win, you have to play in a cheap type of way.

The second thing is, the 2k developers can't leave well enough alone. At launch, the game played as good as any 2k I've played. Yes there were glitches (like the substitution bug) and it was probably a bit too easy to drive to the cup for layups, but if you're using someone like Jordan against a weak defender, it shouldn't be a difficult task. Since then, it seems like there are way too many misses in the paint from both me and the CPU. I don't even have to impose a strategy against dominant post players because it's too easy to make them shoot below 50%. I've been working on my own sliders to try to get the game back to how it was before.

Copped this on ps5 so I can play more online. They finally fixed the lag that online games always had. Gonna play online on the PS5 and do myeras on pc.

There's absolutely nothing good about NBA 2k.

The neighborhood is full of cheesers, bad iq players, etc.
My career you have to play hero ball and average 70 points no matter who your teammates are. For me, Stephen Curry and Klay would go 3/13 from 3.
My Team is very toxic and probably the most money driven mode. Very cheesy too.

Play now online is probably the safest mode as far as I'm concerned. And that alone isn't worth $80 every year.

Maybe, but I’m an old school player. When I buy an NBA game, I wanna play NBA games with actual NBA players. It annoys the hell out of me when I see videos on YouTube and there are 7ft players with green Mohawks and handles playing on a court with a rainforest in the background.

It's a new era of gameplay mechanics. We have to adjust.

Shooting ain't been the same since they introduced Meters. Is what it is.

Dudes come in rec 2-3 zone off top is comedy and nasty work. 5 out doesnt have to be so boring, but its just how the community plays that fukks shyt up. PG dribbling for 20 secs in the shot clock. End of the game, PG took 80% of the shots,

Every year it's the same damn thing too.

I only play center and from what I understand, standing at the free throw line breaks the zone pretty easy.

2k can definitely be played like real basketball, it just takes a good team or a good PG who runs the offense.
