Camby was more Rudy Gobert than he was AD. The Gobert comparison might even be a little generous.
I disagree. Gobert does nothing outside of the paint.

Camby had a funky shot but he took midranges, he had guard-like fluidity as a dribbler in the open floor, he could pass the ball, and he was a stronger defensive playmaker when it came to racking up steals and blocks.

Camby had his career high scoring average as a rookie and that year he logged minutes from the 3 to the 5 positions. It makes you wonder what could he become if they stayed pushing the boundaries of the game.

Survival of the fittest
No penny was just good not great

He had the build and look but could not play like most envisioned

21 6 and 5 was his cap

Sorry to say it people wanted him to be the new age magic but even healthy he was not a great per player
Dumbest post in this thread..."per player" man gtfoh:stopitslime:

How are players like Kevin Martin being mentioned.

He was just a Reggie type with a funky shot and played on-ball a lil more his career wasn’t even that long ago.

IN HIS BEST 3 YR STRETCH
HE AVERAGED 23 PTS ON 15 SHOTS,
45%FG & 40%3P ON 5 THREES PER NIGHT.

PUT HIM IN THIS ERA
TAKING 18-20 SHOTS
AND 10 THREES PER NIGHT
HES AVERAGING 30 EASILY.

No, he’s not he’s not that good.

And he’s not a good enough shot creator for all that.

Lol at him taking 20 shots a game and 10 of those being threes. :mjlol:

Only players to average 30 last season were usage monsters and elite shot creators like Harden, Beal, and Lillard but mediocre fringe All-Star Kevin Martin is putting up 30.

This take any good shooter from back then and they’re taking 10 threes and averaging 30 logic is pure nonsense.
