A massive part of the issue is that the crew simply don’t watch or follow the NBA like they should.. they are strictly there for entertainment value, but at some point there has to be a higher level show where you can bring actual knowledgeable analysts in

The NFL does a great job of this, and they generally do a good job of keeping the “rings” narrative to a minimum because with the NFL context is important

I don’t need Inside the NBA to tell me that the game devolving into a 3 point contest is a bad product for viewers.

I simply stopped watching as much.

I was trying to watch the Boston wizards game and was just :unimpressed:

Boston won yes. But they just kept spamming threes. Teams putting up 50 three pointers each a game. Watching a game with like 80 hoisted three point attempts is crazy. I guess the golden state had that formula with Steph and Klay and now you have Boston and Cleveland who have a golden state warrior coach hoisting as many threes possible.

I haven't watched a full nba game all season. I'm a life long fan but I've lost all interest.

I'm more excited to watch Caitlin Clark, see what buekers gonna do, and eventually Juju

Nba is a stronger product back in the day when you get to know players in college for 3 or 4 years, build an attachment and follow them to the league.

There is no connection between the fan and the nba stars like the women's game is doing currently

This is what denial looks like. You can gaslight all you want but everyone knows what the problem is except for you and a few others.
The brocast partners sure didn't when they trippled their payments to the NBA to cover their product :mjlol: their option u like yours has actual tangible value

College football and the NFL have monopolized the days of the week so much that there is no time to watch a casual game of college basketball. Back when ESPN was king and people had cable you could throw on any game from any conference and I'd watch. But today, even if the greatest prospect ever is playing live I can just wait for the clips/possession by possession breakdowns to hit YouTube and not have to watch a 2 hour game . And that's only if my NBA team is sorry, if we don't have a top pick what am I going to watch it for
