I did too, it was the worst piece of shyt I've ever played. I cannot even fathom what was going through the programmers minds. Let alone what the game testers were doing, let alone EA thought it was good enough to release on a demo.

I know what happened, problem you have is that you never actually played the finished pressed copy of it. It did not have the same problems as the demo. I even tried to recreate the Bynum Jesus glitch on the full release and could never get it to do so.

Stop being a fanboy, I have an objective view of the whole situation while you are holding on to a bad demo release. Become Legendary was a nice feature.

EA should just take the L and move on. They need to spend all it's resources on Madden anyway, their exclusivity with the NFL and ESPN is going to end in a couple of Years and if 2K games gets those thing back, it's essentially over.

You lost all credibilitywhen you said 2k5 was a beast...this is one of...if not THE...worst 2k games ever. If I remember right...this is the one where they went all out in graphics and fukked up the game play. The player size to court ratio was ALL fukked up...the dunks were floaty and u realistic as hell...they had they new "hop to the left...hop to the right" gay azz defense...the rims looked like they were 8 ft tall....the changed a lot of the camera views and tried to force us to use the close to the court side view that sucked and there was not broadcast view I think....it was either this one or 2k4...regardless...this was not one of the better ones.

2k1....2k3....2k6 for 360...2k7...2k8....2k11...are the best 2k games IMO.

U might be right...but even then...I think it took a couple years to get the game back right...I remember getting back into 2k when 2k6 dropped for the Xbox 360 shortly after launch. I remember playing online leagues with 2k3 and playing religiously...then was disappointed for 2 straight years lol

2K has NEVER been lesser than Live, NEVER. Just like how people are loyal to their loves, so ppl didn't wanna abandon the ps2 when the xbox came thru to crush the buildings. Same with people who love sports games.
You was too foolish to see that 2K shytted all over Live, so you kept playing that shyt even though it was clearly the inferior game.
Once you got it on the 360? That was just a port of the last gen versions with slightly better graphics.
The next version, 2k7 then implemented the actual signature player shots and EA was never able to match that. But even before all that, 2K was the better game...

Yeah no 2k is owned by the same company that makes GTA which sells way more than madden.

breh I don't even have a PS3 in hand anymore. It was available from a few select sellers on eBay and a couple of torrent sites.

I really have no gain in saying NBA Elite was a good or bad game, I am just saying what I played when I had a jailbroken PS3 in my possession. I don't think anyone ever got a hold of the 360 version.

It was basically an upgraded NBA Live 10 (Which was on the same level as NBA 2K10 IMO).

2K11 was better no doubt, but Elite 11 was the best build EA had for an NBA game in a very long time and it was fun. The ball handling was much better than the 2K games with the freestyle controls, game was fluid...It was solid

The game was cancelled because of the bad press and the fact that 2K had locked up Jordan and the challenges. EA did the right thing, they could not overcome all the negativity around the title even before release. That's not the way you want to relaunch a franchise.

I think Malta (Wilt) played Elite 11, I know he had NBA Live 10 and felt it was solid.
