@Swagnificent...u back from the dead??? :krs::krs::krs:

All your predictions about Lamar Jackson coming true breh...apparently the young lion is BEASTIN shyt in Baltimore :banderas:

Glad to have you back :blessed::salute::myman:

Good to be back. And just wait. Lamar Jackson's true breakout will be in 2019. That's when he'll be an MVP candidate. This year is just the appetizer. He'll make that quantum leap in Year 2 and make the cacs who questioned him look retarded.

What about the Spurs (without Kawhi) or the Pelicans? You gonna try and say Lamarcus Aldridge's supporting cast was better than LeBron? What other all-star did Aldridge have with him when he took a game from the Warriors?

Pelicans and Spurs both took a game off the Warriors. Bron getting swept by them has no excuses. That was simply embarrassing and another black mark on his resume.
What was Kobe's excuse when he got swept by the Mavs in 2011? Portland got 2 games, OKC got one game and the Heat got 2. :sas1:

Kobe was old and washed up in 2011.

I've been very consistent that Kobe Bryant was the best player in the NBA from 2001-2010. His last prime year was 2009. He was swept in 2011 cause he simply wasn't as good as he used to be anymore. I have no excuse for his performance. He wasn't very good and was not the player I viewed as the best in the league anymore.

We saw a slight rebirth for Kobe in 2012-13 after he got the treatment for his knee in Germany. But that year was a mirage like LeBron's season this year. Kobe like LeBron was no longer playing great defense because he was conserving most of his energy for offense. Thus he was not as impactful to winning as he was in his prime even though the box score stats looked as good as his prime.

Once again I don't make excuses for Kobe's performance like the Bron stans. In 2011, Kobe Bryant was not the same player he was in his prime. PERIOD.

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
We both know exactly what I’m talkin bout fam.. the whole world was buying into the Cavs/Lakers finals hence the Nike puppet commercials that were shown nonstop.. Kobe made it those years but bron didn’t.. by the time he made that decision to run to Miami, Kobe body was starting to break down & the lakers themselves were not the same team so the opportunity had passed :comeon: post Achilles Kobe doesn’t even count to me cuz he was an entirely different player..

We were definitely robbed of a once in a lifetime series between these 2 that would’ve deaded a lot of the debates we have to this day & it sucks :yeshrug: Kobe > bron still though as far as a pure basketball player goes
It would’ve been dope to get a Finals matchup featuring Kobe and Bron but I don’t think that would’ve settled any debate about who’s the better player. There’d still be a bunch of people on both sides saying their guy’s greater. There’s like a 7-year difference between them so there was maybe a year or two where their primes would match up. This probably goes without saying but I’ma say it anyway—whoever had the better team would’ve won any hypothetical Finals matchup not who is the better player. With that said Bron > Kobe.

Kobe in 2011 was younger than Lebron is now.

LeBron has had better longevity than Kobe because he's been more durable. Kobe's 33 is much older than LeBron's 33 because of all the injuries he was dealing with. In 2012-13, when Kobe got that treatment from Germany for his knee he all of a sudden started looking younger again. Was back looking his old self offensively. Just like LeBron this past season. But like LeBron he wasn't playing much defense and was thus not as effective a player overall.

If you want me to give LeBron more credit for being able to stay healthy better than Kobe I will. But that doesn't change the fact 2011 Kobe was a shell of the Kobe from just 2 years ago in 2009. He was nowhere close to the same player. And that is why the Lakers lost.

2009 Kobe leads the Lakers to the title in 2011 easily. Unfortunately Kobe was just an inferior player that year than he was in the past.

LBJ doesn’t empower his teammates

You guys watch hoops but don’t understand the intricacies of the game

LBJ will get 8 or 9 dimes but they’re all hot potato passes...they’re ticking time bombs where they have to shoot

I saw Kobe play live 12+ times & im from the East Coast...he played off the ball A LOT...consequently, other guys had an opportunity to make plays

Y’all can’t tell me Clarkson, Hood, Love & JR can’t create their own offense. The problem was Bron-ball...unfortunately, it’s all Bron knows even at 33

Kobe was hurt in 2011...hence the surgery a couple wks after the playoffs ended

2013 was the last time we saw vintage Vino

I respect your views.. it’s all subjective at the end of the day. I actually like bron to keep it real, i just hate how ppl gotta downplay Kobe to prop him up. I hooped until college so watching Kobe do the shyt he’s done as a player & the skill it took to do it was unreal. I don’t see that type of shyt from bron.. his game is rather simple but that’s just me :manny: he’ll always get you in a position to win though. If by any chance he comes to the Lakers then this shyt will only intensify. I’ll just sit back & watch lol

play for GOAT and get swept in the Finals twice brehs :mjlol:

replace bron with kobe and they don't make it to the finals.

hell, they wouldn't even make it out the 1st round this year.

nah. its the other way around actually.

LeBron making a run for goat, while kobe supporters keep trying to piggy-back kobe into the conversation all of a sudden. before that, most people didn't even have kobe in their top 10.

ive also noticed that kobe is never on the minds of bron stans, until kobe stans interject themseleves into every LeBron topic.
