This isn't really surprising. I would've guessed between 10 - 12 million viewers for game 1.
Now if the series becomes really competitive and builds some buzz, if there's a game 6 or 7 we will see those numbers go up significantly. But I'm guessing the league and Disney expected these numbers for game 1.

Well the Mavs messed up the storyline

Anthony Edwards was meant to get to the NBA finals against Tatum and start the 20's version of Bron vs Curry.

Before that round he was meant to take out Shai which would have been Canada vs USA. This after beating KD and the MVP in the rounds before.

Kyrie is the only true star, but they tried to ICE him OUT of the league for a few years and STAINED his name.

Plus it was DUMB to go a week without a game especially when you don't have big stars.
