Some of yall really just don't like basketball for real. Come up with 435 reasons why ratings are down but when they're up yall brag about not watching.

And anybody that compares nfl ratings to anything is a retard straight up

Regular season NBA basketball games has never generated tens of millions of viewers

If your perspective is that the NBA sucks because it doesn't and the NFL does, have at it
My point is ratings are up because of the big match ups. People care more when there’s a reason to care which NBA fans deny. Fans want to see high quality players and good games and not trash 3 spamming. We got good games yesterday and stars played.

And even then ratings aren’t anything to write home about

The 3-pt volume in the games yesterday were the same as they've been all season.

The large majority of y'all wouldn't even know this because y'all don't watch games in the first place. If you're admitting that yesterday's games were "good" then you're admitting that 3s have never been the problem that y'all made them out to be. Which is the EXACT thing I've been telling folks from the jump.

Y'all complain about so many things about the NBA, yall don't even know what it is y'all want.

Lakers-Warriors led the way with a combined 7.76 million on ABC and ESPN, up six-fold from Sixers-Heat on ESPN alone last year (1.30M) and the largest NBA regular season audience since Clippers-Lakers on Christmas 2019 (8.76M).

It was also the most-watched NBA game on a day that included NFL games since the 2020 NBA Finals, and the most-watched outside of that anomalous circumstance since Christmas 2017 (Cavaliers-Warriors: 8.83M).

Spurs-Knicks placed third with 4.91 million in the Noon ET window — including a “Dunk the Halls” Mickey Mouse-themed simulcast on ESPN2 — the largest audience for the Noon Christmas game since Celtics-Knicks on TNT in 2011, which was the first game of the lockout-delayed season.

Owing to the Christmas Day performance, NBA viewership on The ESPN networks in particular are now up four percent.

Nuggets-Suns rounded out the schedule with 3.84 million — nearly triple Mavericks-Suns last year (1.47M) and the largest audience ever for the late night Christmas window (dates back to 2008).
