I don't disagree the quality of play in the NBA is cheeks rn, but let's be real, the NFL quality, especially the regular season, is also terrible and getting worse each year.

What's bad about the quality of play in comparison to every other year, speficially comparing the games up to now? The NBA unofficially starts on Christmas, so is the quality of play really any different to games from past seasons during October-December?

Games were all on ABC too

ABC is the actual initial issue tho.
Plus the exact reason.
why the ratings being trash is a conversation.
That disney pr has found a work around. Deflected onto the internet or changing platforms. When it is really a conversation about their low quality being so prevalent everywhere. That lead viewers to other alternatives in the first place.
Way before other platforms existed till now.

Wide world of sports sucked back when CBS took over.
That ABC and commercialized beyond the point of no misappropriated return from NBC also contributed to decline in viewership.
This is a deflection tactic by ABC and Disney. To try to steer their trash coverage of anything male related long term out of the conversation of relevency.
Ypu can not ask a princess network. To cover and be the main attraction for male based properties and interest.

It does not work. It never worked back in the day either. Ahit ain't changed. Just a bunch of wack monopolies misappropriation of every fukking thing into wackness has went unchecked.

Solid and expected numbers based on what the nfl usually does.

But isn't this the first time they did this on Netflix for Christmas?

So wouldn't any numbers be considered "record breaking" since there were no previous numbers to compare?
