Actually, this is a myth. I looked at this on sportrac a few months ago and what I concluded was that NFL (even when factoring non-guaranteed.) and NBA contracts are better also.

Those MLB contract be mad long 10-15 year contracts and not really a lot per year. Per year is the most important thing.

Plus as a MLB star, you don't see big time money in baseball till your 30's or late 20's.

NHL contracts are fukking shyt though.
