There are only so many games a person can watch and reputation really counts more than anything when it comes to defensive recognition. Chris Paul has lost a step and missed a bunch of games but won the guard vote by a landslide. Kobe got a bunch of his nominations the same way.
Kobe's defensive noms are an absolute crime

Who the hell is Kilpatrick? Before this post, i had NEVER heard of him a second in my life :dahell:

This is why you play fantasy breh. I know every no name player in the league(Kilpatrick is a streaky as shytting scoring guard, played some point and sg for the nets).

And that goes for everyone that voted for CP3 too.
1) CP3 had the highest DRPM out of all guards this season

2) His net defensive rating was an +8.8. Clippers were 8th in defensive efficiency overall.

3) His defensive rating was lower than Avery Bradley by 6.2 points, lower than Patrick Beverly by 5.7 points and lower than Tony Allen by 3.1 points. Only Danny Green had a lower defensive rating at .2 less. (NBA.COM)

4) He was 36th in the league in points allowed per possession (lower than Avery Bradley)

Clippers defense fell off a cliff when he went out as well

Also, mid year there was some stat that rankes defense and he was at the top of that as well
Plus playoffs :yeshrug:
