I played a little bit of 2K21 on Gamepass after being away from the game for years. VC and shyt rubbed me the wrong way. A cousin convinced me to come back for next gen 2K22. Acquiring badges was a bit more to my liking and the VC wasn't as insufferable and the game only costs me 10 bucks. I enjoyed it. Can't even lie. I mostly played offline. I watched that Joe Knows builder video yesterday and sheesh. I can already see I can't make a PG or PF build like I had in 2K22. It looks like you have to build a balanced all around character or a role playing specialist, most likely a slow, no defense playing 3 point shooter. The thing is I don't understand how to square that with players that already exist.Wack. As a primarily offline guy I’m not looking forward to having some Danny Green role player build. Last 2 years the MyPlayer builds were fun as hell.
Cannot be overstated. Never bought VCand the audacity of this $70 game being riddled with microtransations is egregious
That's because the game itself isn't bad unlike Madden. It's the VC, cheeses, and the split between the park players and the offline players that people complain aboutIts always interesting how 2k players routinely say how much they hate 2k, yet buy every year
ya'll like pokemon fans for bball
Change your time zone to New Zealand you can play Thursday morning. It’s just a day but I really only play 2k so I do it every year it’s like my Christmas timeI didn’t play 22 as much so I’m really excited for this...can’t wait til fri.
That’s exactly when I wait to buy all my sports games … by that time the initial updates are already patched in and you get the game for half offWe in the digital era anyways, all you gotta do is wait till after launch. You got nothing to lose.
If you're an adept human being you can even wait till black friday when they usually start begging people to buy it for cheap after the terrible reception.
I agree. It’s sucks the fun out of my career because you basically gotta be a dominant role player. It’s basically impossible to make someone 6’8 or taller with handle, like KD, Tatum, Brandon Ingram, etc. I understand it’s in effort to not enable “Demi-god” builds, but at the end of the day it’s a video gameI played a little bit of 2K21 on Gamepass after being away from the game for years. Take Steph for instance. Steph would be a 99 in 3's. No one would argue that right? But he's also gonna have high playmaking ratings. His handles and speed with ball both have to be at minimum 90. Passing at least 85. He also finishes at the rim highly effectively. And he isn't a slouch on defense. As far as I can see there is no way to build him with the builder. We won't even get started on Lebron and Giannis.
It's gonna be interesting to see.
