remake vs remaster… I mean…is it gonna have the same storyline? I’m not really seeing much difference in the terms. May be more of a technical difference (new game engine, physics,etc…) but similar result.

Beat the ps4 version of first game twice last summer. shyt was pretty buggy.

It's going on 10 years since the original release. I don't think it's necessary, but I wanna see what's added. I wanna run through 2 again but I've been waiting to see if they gonna do something with that.

How does a game get its initial release a remaster and a remake inside of 9 years? Who asked for that? It's like having a 2 year high school graduating class reunion. Let people miss you first.

I don't get it either, but maybe with the HBGoat show droppin and having new fans to the series that will come with it, a remake and update of the game made sense for the PS5.

I'm just waiting on Factions.

Makes sense to remaster the game right before the HBO show.
Makes sense to remaster TLoU, UC4, and Lost Legacy for early ps5 cycle.

ND's first game on ps5 still won't come out for years. Not a lot of effort required and a good look to relaunch 3 titles and upgrade your most recent release to current gen within 18 months of console launch.

Unfortunately it looks like most devs (read: all) won't be releasing new games without taking 4-5 years in between. At minimum

I'm willing to bet anything that the game will just be the same game rebuilt using the engine and mechanics of last of us 2. Maybe fix a few quirks like changing the Indian doctor at the end to Abby's dad.
