As americans multiple consumer holidays based on poor representation of other cultures and historical events (St. Patricks day, Cinco De Mayo, Thanksgiving) and as black folk start rocking with anything affiliated with africa (without regard to what country) and call it going back to their roots. Not even going to go into aesthetic biting like weaves and european fashion.

Black folks started to echo chamber this appropriation nonsense because it felt good to criticize white people but didn't realize they house made of glass. It was only a matter of time before another culture came with the clapback and people start to realize they been playing themselves with this angle.

I think there's some truth to cultural appropriation in the sense that completely hijacking someone's culture in a ruthless attempt to make money is disrespectful.

But what I don't understand is the very nature of culture and cultures means that they're influenced by each other. every society on this planet has been influenced by another simply because we don't live in isolation of one another as well as the fact that people migrate from place to place.

Native Americans migrated from Asia/Siberia and crossed the bering straits, it's not like they came up with their spirituality system in a vacuum, it was influenced by other cultures too and that's perfectly okay

"Natives" are in all parts of the The Americas and Pacific, throughout history some have mingled with African descendants but that's it. Despite the dark skin tone i believe that most came from somewhere in Asia, at least that's what researchers points.
