I was never on the "cultural appropriation" bandwagon because all it does is make people more tribalistic. Look, culture is supposed to evolve. Ideally, people would learn from different cultures and adapt certain aspects that speak to them.

This whole "this is MY culture and it belongs ONLY to me and you can't have ANY of it" attitude only keeps up walls between people and discourages cultural exchange of ideas. And since America is supposed to be a combination of diverse cultures, the idea that they're not gonna influence each other is far-fetched.

Depends on region. The natives in the rainy/snowy places are lighter, the natives in the desert and more exposed to the sun are darker and redder (Navajo)
