I take back my previous posts. I just kicked it with my homie who does studio engineering and he told me that a Droog is 100% definitely Nas. Apparently Nas has a plan to release 4 albums that are a mix of old (as in Illmatic era) and new rhymes with no promotion on some love for hiphop shyt. They're documenting social media reactions and recording interviews with other artists to create a mini-documentary about it all, and the difference between the albums artists wish they could put out and the albums they end up delivering due to label politics. This shyt is actually a fascinating project.

The Coli doesn't care about the quality of the music. Only about "how black" it is.

When people thought he was Nas, it was commonly thought to be the BEST THING EVER HAPPENED TO HIPHOP, but as soon as it was revealed that a white guy in his 20's is rapping, suddenly it's garbage.

shyt, you people don't even enjoy music anymore. Hiphop turned into another social justice warrior bullshyt.

show me one person who changed their mind on the music

and im still pretty sure its nas. all this talk about some 20 year old russian is :childplease: :camby:

probably someone with ears.
:beli: Come on they've been other dudes with raspy kind of flows with Nas that are quite lyrical. I mean you have some people in this thread who straight up said people were foolish for thinking it was him. Like people out here talking about his voice has been put on lo-fi volume and all this and its just like what's the madness coming from both sides :mindblown:

I've been convinced this isn't Nas since I first listened to the EP completely. His hooks are different than Nas', he uses way more punchlines than Nas does, and he didn't use nikka once on the tape, which Nas does pretty often. I also feel that some of the references he uses aren't Nas like. Tape is dope though, I want to hear more music from this dude. :manny:
