def not Nas but fun to think about..

he talks about being hot since One for Peedi...that song is like less than a decade old..Nas was around way before that

multiple mentions of Malboro Reds...when does Nas ever rap about cigarettes..specific ones at that..

shyt wasn't even that good like that. Like 3-4 decent songs that still had some offbeat as fukk rhymes. Never thought it was nas, but honestly I'm relieved it's not him bc that shyt was ehh at best.

i disagree

lol

i still havent played it all the way through

Honestly, once it became established it wasn't actually Nas himself who released this, the EP lost its entire appeal.
How was it "established" that Droog isn't Nas? The dead links/tweets? The fact that Droog doesn't use "ni66a" in any song? Random dudes on KTT claiming Droog is their cousins uncle? Or that random picture of that white dude Cacplex put up?? Lololol

Stop it. Sad thing is, the people in this thread that so desperately NOT want Droog to be Nas, fail to realize that this new EP, the one you have been bumping intensely, commenting on, wasting time on, etc, would have NEVER existed if that kid from Queens wasn't born. Trying to rule this off as a L, yet Esco can't get removed from your minds. Hilarious!

Even if it's not Nas it's still a dope project. :snoop: cats starting to hate now because it's not Nas like that automatically makes it wack. The only downsides are he releases music sporadically and is a biter like never before. What would be really dope is if he released another album but being someone else.

A few of those things combined, bums like you getting ultradefensive already like it makes a difference in your empty lives whether its him or not, common sense, etc.

If you were Nas goofing with an alter ego and looking to create a little buzz, wouldn't you send an imposter out to pose as droog, or possibly pay off a writer to say something to create a little confusion and keep people talking?

And wouldn't you change a few details and things in your music so that it wasn't completely obvious it was you?

Its Nas.

Yep, I'm not convinced. The more I listen to this the more I think this is a white guy who has studied Nas style to the "T" (especially early to mid 90's Nas). I don't think this dude even said the "N" word once on this EP. Not saying that is a requirement or anything but it is worth noting.
