not sure if this has been posted but i love this remix more than the original

nice!

One thing that bothers me about Nas work is that it's very difficult to know which remixes are actually official remixes. Fan remixes are cool but I am mainly interested in official remixes because there are usually alternate versions or originals where samples were not cleared. One of the most frustrating of these, for me, is this Blaze a 50 track below. There are a lot of Blaze a 50 remixes and out of all of them, this one is the only one, IMO, that comes close to being as good. In fact, I like this just a much as the original. I personally believe this is an alternate version but no one else does. People always debunk this one, however, this is the only version that exists and no one has every take credit for it.

It is tracks like this that make me want to know all about Nas' vaults, especially during that era. @Ziggiy be clownin' me about about sweatin' Nas for his lost tapes (LOL) but this is why. I want to hear and know about the studio remixes and alternate versions. Nas is known for having rhymes edited out of his music. Sometimes a few lines, sometimes whole verses and that the shyt I want to hear. We all know about an extended version of You're the Man and Street Dreams and Watch them nikkaz but what else does he have?

When Nas used to let mix tapes out, the DJs would get their hands on accapellas of unreleased verses. Dirty Harry had some, Green Lantern, and Dj 31 degrees. Clue is also one who had some early good shyt from Nas. @DJRhude was able to get some of the CDQ No DJ versions through the years. Who has more? Will DJs, if contacted, even put that shyt out now?

I hit up Doo Wop about buying a NODJ copy of Sosa Vs The State, he asked me to clarify what track I meant, then never responded after I’d sent the YouTube link to his mixtape version. Was trying to do o it for the team, LOL

There’s only a snippet with Dj drops on it, some say the song was never finished....utter shame since the beat is banging and who doesn’t want to hear Nas over just blaze.
If you seen Just in the studio with an Artist then I can tell you why Nas left and never came back :laff:

Same reason Eminem caught feelings and almost sent Just home.

Justblaze be coaching rappers and they not always receptive. Some egos get bruised.

Nas still the Goat.
