Smh I've had a dude in Nash camp tell me a few years ago that his catalogue of unreleased songs is so deep he could release a lost tapes for the next 20 years.Said when he locks in during album time he goes in.He also said a lot of the stuff he holds on to be some next level type stuff that he feels people just wouldn't get.

Now thats what I'm talking about. Thats what intrigues me. The recording process. The Lost Tapes. I want the music yo!

Nas may just be the money man for Mass appeal. I doubt if he has nothing to do with it. I would own a company and let other runs the day to day too. I bet he has more influence than anyone else there.

Son u dont know what Nas has to do with...Nas has been involved with shyt behind the scenes alotta people never knew until his divorce with Kelis...either way its makes no difference...im pretty sure Jay Z is only on the back end of alotta these business ventures he attaches his name to as well..alotta these rap nikkas have advisors n all kinda shyt to help them manage their business moves...Diddy is one of the only few who imo literally handles alot of the business he's involved with...

Dope point that I had to reply to again. So, the deep stuff that nobody would get is precisely what I would be interested in hearing. Tired if hearing senseless, thoughtless music and any attempt to add some thought provoking or conscious content interests me. The only problem I have with it is that if the music is not released, it stays lost forever in the vaults. Now that Nas has Sony backing for his Lost tapes 2, he should have access to his vaults but before this deal took place, the music was presumably, just going to sit there, locked away, until Nas was gone so they could do with it what they wanted and it be more profitable for them.

And once again, "The Season" is fire!!!!

now that nas has said jay couldnt write his lyrics and is washed up, what jay gon do? that was some lowkey second ether. was more lowkey but he kinda c/s the jay haters. and after solange assaulted jay, jay gonna be gunshy about battles, just too much info to clown him on. solange probably gonna feed nas info as well.
