Nas and his team made a great choice of giving us the most recent unreleased stuff. The material that had leaked prior to the first lost tapes was only out a couple of years and the file sharing was still new to many. We all got our hands on those tracks early but we only had them for a couple years tops. The versions we had were either too fast or too slow. Tracks like My Will, Colors, NY Stomp, Talk of NY have been readily available for over 5 years. Every track we listed on our dream Lost Tapes has been out forever. Now we get new music that we never heard before. Can’t beat that.

Still can’t wait for the inevitable questions that I’m hoping I a well informed interviewed asks Nas.

What’s about the music left back at Sony?
